Daniel Shaeffer is a co-founder of Cottonwood residential and his primary responsibilities include overseeing acquisitions, capital markets and strategic planning. He is also involved with other aspects of the Company’s business including asset management, marketing and capital raising activities.
Chad Christensen is a co-founder of Cottonwood Residential and currently oversees the asset and property management components of the business, as well as the general operations of the company. He is actively involved in new business generation, new acquisitions, and investor relations.
Gregg Christensen joined Cottonwood Residential as Principal and General Counsel. He oversees and coordinates all legal aspects of Cottonwood’s business including: negotiating and preparing contracts, conducting due diligence, assisting with financing and managing Cottonwood’s organizational structure. Gregg is also a member of the Executive and Investment Committees.
Susan Hallenberg is the Chief Financial Officer and oversees financial reporting, accounting, treasury, and risk management. Susan brings deep experience in all aspects of financial management to Cottonwood Residential and its affiliates.
Glenn is the Chief Operating Officer for Cottonwood Residential and brings over thirty years of property management experience to the organization. He directs operations and construction, and provides strategic guidance with respect to acquisitions and asset management.
Eric Marlin serves as the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Cottonwood Residential. He is responsible for raising equity for Cottonwood’s real estate investments and developing the marketing strategy. As part of this effort, Eric interfaces extensively with the community of Registered Representatives, Broker Dealers, and individual investors.
Stan Hanks is Senior Vice President of Asset Management, with over 15 years of multi-family experience. He is responsible for strategic initiatives that maximize asset values through; implementation of large scale capital projects, increasing revenues while minimizing expenses, mitigating liability and risks, and driving refinance/sell decisions.
