Daniel Shaeffer is a co-founder of Cottonwood Residential and his primary responsibilities include overseeing acquisitions, capital markets and strategic planning. He is also involved with other aspects of the Company’s business including asset management, marketing and capital raising activities.
Chad Christensen is a co-founder of Cottonwood Residential and currently oversees the asset and property management components of the business, as well as the general operations of the company. He is actively involved in new business generation, new acquisitions, and investor relations.
Gregg Christensen joined Cottonwood Residential as Principal and General Counsel. He oversees and coordinates all legal aspects of Cottonwood’s business including: negotiating and preparing contracts, conducting due diligence, assisting with financing and managing Cottonwood’s organizational structure. Gregg is also a member of the Executive and Investment Committees.
Glenn is the Chief Operating Officer for Cottonwood Residential and brings over thirty years of property management experience to the organization. He directs operations and construction, and provides strategic guidance with respect to acquisitions and asset management.
In addition to serving as our President, Mr. Cassinis also serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Cottonwood Multifamily REIT I, Inc. and Cottonwood Multifamily REIT II, Inc., two Cottonwood-sponsored real estate investment trusts that raised $50 million in offerings qualified under Regulation A.
Serving as our Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Larson provides strategic guidance with respect to asset management, financial planning and analysis, and property operations.
Susan Hallenberg is the Chief Financial Officer and oversees financial reporting, accounting, treasury, and risk management. Susan brings deep experience in all aspects of financial management to Cottonwood Residential and its affiliates.
Mr. Fredenberg also serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Cottonwood Multifamily REIT I, Inc. and Cottonwood Multifamily REIT II, Inc. focused exclusively on sourcing and evaluating new multifamily investment opportunities for Cottonwood Residential, Inc.
Stan Hanks has served as an Chief Development Officer of CCI since the closing of the CRII Merger. Mr. Hanks also has served as Executive Vice President of CROP since September 2012. Mr. Hanks has over 17 years of multi-family experience. He is responsible for development project oversight and strategic initiatives.
Eric Marlin serves as the Executive Vice President of Capital Markets for Cottonwood Residential. He is responsible for raising equity for Cottonwood’s real estate investments and developing the marketing strategy. As part of this effort, Eric interfaces extensively with the community of Registered Representatives, Broker Dealers, and individual investors.
Brandy and her team manage site-level operations, acquisitions, and dispositions. Prior to joining Cottonwood in 2015, she served as VP of Operations for Property Management at JIK Properties. She also worked for Pinnacle and AMS as a Regional VP, and with Alliance Residential as a Regional Property Manager.
Brandy has managed garden style, mid-rise, high-rise, multiple class properties, development, and lease-ups. She graduated from Florida State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in business management and MBA with an emphasis in real estate and finance.
Tyler is the Executive Vice President of Development for Cottonwood Residential and has over twenty years of experience in construction and commercial real estate. He focuses on the front-end of the development process, including market and site selection, site planning and overall project design, consultant engagement, entitlement, and governmental relations.
